Your baby isn't fussy. He's trying to tell you something.
Born Ready teaches you how to finally understand - in the moments that matter, in the life you already have.
Every time your baby fusses, you run through the list.
Hungry? Tired? Gas? Overstimulated?
You try everything. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. And somewhere in the back of your mind, you wonder if you're missing something.
You are.
Your baby was born knowing how to communicate when she needs to go to the bathroom. Not in a few years. Right now. Today. And every time she goes in a diaper without anyone noticing — she learns, slowly, to stop trying to tell you.
No honey. She's not gassy. She's waiting on you.
The moms who figure this out don't have more time than you. They don't stay home all day staring at their baby waiting for a signal. They don't have a special kind of baby who cooperates on command.
They just learned how to listen.
That is what Born Ready gives you — the foundation. The rest is you and your baby, building something nobody else can teach.
Imagine This…
You're on a grocery run. Baby in the carrier, snug and snoozing. You've made it through the entire produce section and are shopping the eggs when your baby wakes up.
He starts to fuss. Squirming. Kicking. A small cry. You look down — and you know. He's not going back to sleep. He needs to pee.
You wheel the cart to the bathroom. You get him out of the carrier, pull off a completely dry diaper, hold him over the toilet.
He pees immediately.
You balance him on your knee as you pull the dry diaper back on, never touching that nasty changing table, and head back out to get your eggs.
That's it. That's the whole thing. Two minutes, maybe three. Now your baby is quietly looking around the store, calm and alert. The older ladies smile and comment what a good baby you have.
But you know the truth: he's not just a good baby, you knew exactly what he needed and showed up.
Or this one.
You're having lunch after the grocery run. You're breastfeeding your baby on one arm and eating your chicken salad sandwich with the other.
She pops off. Looks up at you. Relatches. Pops off again.
You know immediately. Not pee this time. Poop.
You gather your toddler, head to the bathroom, check and the diaper is dry.
You know what to do. Pee AND poop in the toilet this time, and you're back at the table finishing your lunch in three minutes flat, no changing table required.
No wasted time. No guessing and wondering if maybe that was a signal. No holding your baby over the toilet for 15 minutes hoping something's going to come out.
You started EC with Born Ready, and you learned how to read your baby.
Every time. Everywhere. With the accuracy that feels better than an A+ on the hardest exam you ever took.
THAT is what Born Ready shows you how to build.
Who Built This.
Hi, I'm Heather.
I'm not a stay-at-home mom.
I'm a professional architect. I have three babies all just two years apart. I went back to work after a too short maternity leave each time.
I did EC for the first time with my second baby and had her out of diapers and toileting independently by 14 months. But, I made every mistake in the book — the timer-watching, the constant guessing, the preemptive running back and forth to the bathroom wondering if now was the right moment. I was exhausted from trying to do it "perfectly," trying to save every diaper and chase a perfect score like my GPA in high school. Not to mention, I was never giving my baby the chance to develop the mind-body connection that forms the foundation of this entire practice.
With my third baby, I did not have the luxury of wasting a single minute.
I did the first four months of postpartum alone — my now-husband and I were separated during that time (praise GOD for reconciliation) — caring for a newborn, a two-year-old, and a four-year-old by myself. There was no hovering. There was no schedule. There was no version of EC that required my constant attention because I did not have constant attention to give.
So I figured out the version that actually works in real life. The version that requires the absolute minimum amount of time and attention from mama (seriously, it's faster than changing a dirty diaper).
And by 10 weeks? My son was telling me consistently every single time he needed to go. Most of the day, his diaper stayed dry.
I'm not exceptional. I'm not "a natural." I'm a ridiculously busy mom juggling life, work, business, and motherhood who simply learned exactly how to understand what my baby was already trying to tell me - and the right way to respond when he does.
That is what I teach inside Born Ready. Not the perfect score version of EC. Not the "part time" version of EC. The version that works when your life does not slow down to accommodate it.
The doubt is not yours...it just sounds like your voice.
Your daycare thinks it won't be able to support EC. Your husband thinks you don't have time. Your mother-in-law thinks it's a waste — or worse, it's cruel. Your pediatrician raised an eyebrow. Your friend sent you an article.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, your own instinct — the one that made you search for this in the first place — got very quiet.
Let's answer every single one of them.
"My daycare won't support it."
Most daycare providers say this before they understand what EC actually asks of them. Born Ready walks you through exactly how to have that conversation — and what EC at home alone is capable of producing, with or without daycare's participation.
"My husband thinks I don't have time."
He's picturing the exhausting version. The timer-watching, the constant bathroom runs, the hovering. That version is not what you will learn with Born Ready. When he sees what EC actually looks like in practice — a two-minute bathroom trip when your baby asks — most partners come around fast.
"My mom/mother-in-law thinks this is cruel or pointless."
Your baby was born with the instinct to communicate elimination. Responding to that instinct is not pressure — it is attention. The research does not support bladder damage. What the research does support is that babies who receive responsive care for their elimination needs in the first year of life consistently develop stronger body awareness and mind-body connection, not weaker. Born Ready covers this in full.
"I heard EC causes problems later."
What causes problems is the opposite — years of training a baby to ignore their body's signals, then asking them to suddenly tune back in at age three. EC does not ask your baby to hold it on command. It asks you to notice when they are already ready to go. That is not training. That is listening.
“But what if I'm too tired to learn something new? I’m scared I’ll fail my baby.”
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about connection. Even if you “miss” more than you catch in the beginning, you’re laying the foundation for awareness, trust, and independence that grows over time. Success isn’t a dry diaper — it’s communication. If you can recognize a hunger signal? You can recognize a potty signal.
Born Ready gives you simple, bite-sized steps you can easily implement without overthinking, even with no sleep. No overwhelm, no hours of studying — just simple, doable actions that slide into your day without adding more weight to your shoulders.
Your instinct brought you here. Born Ready gives it somewhere to go.
What's Inside Born Ready
📍 Start Here, Start Now
Your first potty catches and early wins — from newborn to walking, no experience required.
No gear to buy before you begin. This is where you meet your baby exactly where they are right now and take your very first step into the conversation.
🌱 The Foundation
What EC actually is, why diapers became the default, and the research that gives you the confidence to answer anyone who questions it.
You will never again be caught off guard by a skeptical mother-in-law, a doubtful pediatrician, or a partner who thinks you have lost your mind. You will know exactly what you are doing and why.
👂 Understanding Your Baby's Potty Language
The pre-verbal communication system your baby was born with — and how to finally understand what they have been saying all along.
This is the heart of everything. Not timing. Not schedules. Not guessing. Your baby already has a language. This module teaches you how to speak it.
🗺️ The Roadmap
What to expect from newborn to fully independent, so you can respond with confidence at every stage.
EC looks different at two weeks than it does at eight months. This module shows you the full picture so nothing catches you off guard and nothing feels like failure — it just feels like the next stage.
🏡 Set Up for the Life You Actually Have
Practical setup so EC works no matter the conditions.
Home, car, diaper bag, daycare drop-off, grocery run, weekend away. This module removes every logistical excuse before you can form one.
✈️ Special Circumstances
EC does not pause for real life. This module makes sure you don't have to either.
Travel, overnights, public bathrooms, caregivers who aren't on board yet. Every scenario you were already worried about, handled.
🛠 Navigating Regressions and Real Life Challenges
Daycare, sleep, teething, potty refusal — and how to stay steady when EC gets hard.
Every mom hits a wall. This module is what you reach for when you do. Not to push through. To understand what is actually happening — and respond with the same clarity you had on day one.
🐥 Ditch the Diapers
The final piece of the puzzle — and the last potty training course you'll ever need.
You've done the work. Your baby knows the language. This module is the handoff — where you step back, trust what you've built together, and let your baby take the wheel. There will probably be a little mess along the way, but you'll know exactly how to handle it.
💡 Think you missed your chance? You didn’t.
So many mamas find me at 8, 10, even 15 months old — right when EC suddenly feels like it’s “stopped working.”
Maybe you started with "easy catches" but never learned signals. Maybe your baby was happy to go at first, but now that they’re mobile, they want nothing to do with the potty. Or maybe you’ve wanted to try EC all along, but life, work, or exhaustion got in the way...
✨ Here’s the truth: It’s never too late.
Your baby can absolutely reconnect the dots between their body’s signals and the potty. You just need the right approach to get back on track.
That’s why Born Ready includes a full Ditch the Diapers module — your roadmap to transitioning from EC to true toilet independence with confidence, whether you started from birth or jump in at 10 months or later.
Inside, you’ll learn:
- How to restart when EC feels like it’s stopped working
- Gentle ways to help your baby accept (and even prefer!) the potty again
- How to end diaper dependence without battles, bribes, or tears
- What to do if your baby’s cues seem “gone”
No matter when you begin, you can finish with dignity, independence, and confidence — without battling a willful toddler at the height of the "no" season!
Born Ready is for you if…
- You’re already practicing EC and want to deepen your rhythm and confidence.
- You’re preparing to start EC with a newborn and want a clear, doable gameplan.
- You’re tired of Googling every new challenge and want one cohesive, proven guide.
💡 You do not have to throw out your diapers to do this work. You DO deserve to feel confident and connected.

Why EC Matters (Without the Mom-Guilt)
If you’ve ever seen me do Elimination Communication and thought,
“That looks amazing… but I already missed my chance,”
or
“I feel guilty I didn’t start sooner,”
I want you to hear me clearly:
It’s not your fault.
Our culture has trained us to believe diapers are the only option. The diaper industry has spent billions (BILLIONS.) making sure we never question it. And almost no one is taught that babies are born with the ability and awareness to communicate their potty needs from day one.
So of course you didn’t know. Of course you thought diapers were the only way. Of course you felt overwhelmed — you’re a mother doing the very best you can with the information you had.
And here’s the best news:
It’s never too late to begin.
Even if you’ve never tried EC before… Even if your baby is older… Even if you’ve never ever noticed a potty signal of any kind.
Every response counts. Every attempt builds awareness. Every moment of listening creates more connection.
I’ve heard from mamas who started at 4 months, 8 months, even 15 months — and still saw incredible results. Because this isn’t about doing it “perfectly” from day one. It’s about honoring your baby’s design, whenever you start.
You haven’t failed your baby. You’ve just been given an opportunity — starting today — to connect in a whole new way.
Because your baby was born with the instinct — and YOU were born with the intuition.
Let’s Begin
Every day you wait, your baby is learning to tune out the signals they were born with. Every day you start, you’re building trust, connection, and awareness that will last a lifetime.
You don’t have to ditch diapers. You don’t have to be perfect. You do have to start — and you can start today.
The sooner you begin, the sooner you’ll feel:
✅ Confident in reading your baby’s cues
✅ Less stressed about diapers, mess, and potty training battles
✅ Connected to your baby in a way that changes everything
Your baby was born ready, and so are you.
Lifetime access. Self-paced. Start today.
One Year From Now…
You could still be:
